Narrative

Mary's husband died 7 years after their marriage, just before the 1881 census, and was buried in the Hobson family grave. They had no children. Mary remarried 19 months after her husband died. Mary married a widower called Robert Singleton Fletcher, and they moved to Wales. Mary had no children with Robert but he had a daughter Violet from his first marriage.
Mary had known Robert since they were both children. In 1861 Robert aged 12 and his family were living next door to Mary aged 13 and her family. In 1871 Mary aged 23 was living with Robert aged 22 and his parents and siblings. This was after Mary's mother had died and 3 years before Mary married William Wroe, which was perhaps a marriage arranged by Mary's father?
