1911 census shows Elizabeth aged 9 with her older twin brothers Henry and Herbert, living with her mother Lucy with her second husband (Thomas Lemons) and their two children.
1919 wedding of Elizabeth to Thomas Brown is signed and witnessed by (1) her brother Herbert Rowland (her father is dead) and (2) Ethel Pearce (born 1897, married 1922) the youngest sister of Grace's husband John Thomas Pearce. Elizabeth gives her age as 19 but she is 4 months from her 18th birthday.
