Narrative

Daniel was the eldest son of Randle and Ann Antrobus, who lived in the Mainwaring Arms, and

His eldest sister married at 19

1808 Daniel didn't get married until he was 32, presumably he was too busy working in the Mainwaring Arms.

Did he only have 2 children - or were there others?

Was Land Tax on the land or the house????
In 1810 Daniel became the occupier, liable for the Land Tax, of the Mainwaring Arms.
In 1820 he became the Owner of the Mainwaring Arms .aged 44.

1820 Newspaper - freehold sale "at the house of Mr Daniel Antrobus the Mainwaring Arms"
1821-1831 Land Tax - Prop. Daniel - Occ. Daniel
1830 Newspaper - timber sale "at the house of Mr Antrobus, the Mainwaring Arms".
1831 Land Tax - Daniel is one of the 2 assessors. Also for 1830. Maybe lots of others too.

1840 Newspaper - inquest "at the house of Mr Daniel Antrobus, of the Mainwaring Arms public-house"
1841 Tithe Map - Mainwaring Arms & Land - Owner William Antrobus - Occ. William Antrobus
1851 census - son William is still at the Mainwaring Arms

1842 Daniel's youngest daughter Ann married Thomas Holland who is selling timber at the pub auctions.
