Narrative

When Randle was born, 3 of his older siblings had already died, including a brother who was also called Randle. They were buried at St Lawrence Church, which is adjacent to Peover Hall, where they had all been baptised. Randle's 2 other older siblings died shortly after Randle was born. Randle had 2 younger siblings but no further records have been found for them, so he may be the sole survivor into adulthood. The name Randle is associated with the Mainwaring family of Peover Hall, which was built by Sir Randle Mainwaring in 1585. The 2020 owner was Randle Brooks.

In November 1770 Randle's Father dies, and in December 1771 Randle aged 20, marries Ann Kindar aged 22, at St John the Baptist, Knutsford. They have at least 3 children, between 1772 and 1781.

In 1815, his son James is buried in Sandbach aged 33, Randle is buried in the same place 7 years later.
